Our design process is intended to be as straightforward, yet as flexible as possible. Although every project is different, these steps have been refined through experience and prove extremely successful.

1. Briefing

UNDERSTANDING YOUR NEEDS AND DEVELOPING A SOLUTION

At the start of the project we'll need to get to know your company and services, and what you're looking to achieve with your advertising. You can brief us online, via email, or speak with one of our creative designers directly over the phone. This ensures we have a good understanding of your requirements.

We'll also need to collect the material that will be used as content. This usually includes any text, images and your logo. We'd prefer to receive this electronically (especially the text) and you'll be able to email this directly, or post on a CD if necessary.

It's not a problem if you don't have all of the details from the start. Changes to text and imagery can be made throughout your project. If you dont have any images yet, we will be able to buy stock photos for you. If you don't yet have a logo, we can also offer this service. Please click here for identity design.

2. First Drafts

WE'RE READY TO SHOW YOU WHAT WE CAME UP WITH

At this point we'll begin to put together several initial design concepts for your consideration. This will usually take five working days or less to complete.Your initial design drafts will be sent to you in Adobe PDF format by email.

3. Feedback

LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

Once you've received the initial drafts, we need to know what you think. You're welcome to take as long as you need to consider them.We ask that your feedback be as specific as possible to help us understand what it was about each concept that did or did not appeal to you. When you're ready, you can return your feedback to us by email, or if you prefer you can call and discuss your thoughts with the designers working on your project.

4. Redrafts & Revisions

GETTING YOUR DESIGN JUST RIGHT

Once we receive your feedback our designers will continue work on the project, making changes as requested or creating new designs with your comments in mind. Whether the initial drafts are close but require further development, are not what you were looking for or if you'd just like to try something different, our designers will listen to your feedback and present further options.

These subsequent drafts are then sent as before for your further consideration. Most sets of revisions take less than two days to prepare.

This process of drafting and feedback then repeats as necessary, with your comments from each set of drafts used to develop the next. At each stage the drafts will inevitably draw closer to your requirements, until you approve the final versions.

Typically the entire process takes less than two weeks from start to finish, however this is only an average – we impose no maximum timescale with any of our services. It may also be possible to speed up the process to meet an urgent deadline, although this may incur additional fees which would be agreed prior to commencing work.

5. Finalizing

READY TO LAUNCH YOUR PROJECT

Once you have approved your final design, the artwork is prepared and sent via email for immediate use. If your project requires printing we will provide you with an estimate.

Your design will be available for download in each of the following formats.

We can also mail you a copy of your design project on a CD.

.psd

A psd is an editable adobe photoshop file with layers. This means with basic photoshop knowledge you can cut, crop or edit your design. We recommend psd files only for those clients who are familiar with the adobe photoshop program.

.eps

An eps is a vector image of your logo. This means you can make it as big or as small as you like without compromising print quality. It is also the file you can manipulate should you ever need to make changes to your logo.

.jpg & .gif

A jpeg is perfect for use on the Internet. Since it has a much lower resolution file than an eps and cannot be enlarged without losing design detail it is not recommended for printing. A gif is another low resolution file, great for web and computer use.

"Great results, awesome to work with! I needed some signage done for my bar, the result was exactly how i'd envisioned it to be...if not better. They were always very prompt with emails and new designs. Very creative, responsive, and helpful people. Stop by sometime for a few drinks on the house!"
